Reopening after COVID-19

Upon reopening the salon, we will be implementing new protocols to ensure the safety of our team and guests.

we are excited to re-open the parlour 29 on tuesday, may 12th. here is what you can expect at your appointment.

Q: What can I expect when I visit The Parlour 29 for my future appointments?

There are many new safety and sanitation initiatives we are implementing, but we wanted to inform you of the most important:

  • When scheduling your appointment, you will be required to place a credit card on file. This will allow you to purchase your service and products with limited interaction at the time of checkout.
  • When reserving your appointment with us, we will walk you through our new process.
  • Limiting 1-1 interactions – Our greetings and goodbyes will be touchless; we will not be shaking hands or hugging at this time.
  • We ask that you arrive for your appointment at the time of your appointment, no earlier. Please limit any belongings you bring to just your phone, and forms of payment (no handbags).
  • Please do not bring any extra guests, please do not bring children to your appointment, and no pets will be allowed in the salon at this time.
  • Checking In – Upon arrival, we will invite you to check-in at our greeting station outside the front door of the salon, or you can wait in your car and text 561-502-3878 that you have arrived. If the salon is at capacity, you may be asked to remain in your vehicle, and you will receive a text on when you can enter the premises. We will be asking screening questions as well.
  • Temperature checks – All guests and staff are required to have a temperature checkbefore entering the salon. If you have a temperature of 99 or above, you will not be permitted in the salon and will have to call to reschedule.
  • Upon entering the premises, you will be guided to wash your hands before your service is started. Social Distancing – We will be working in every other station to keep a safe distance.
  • Masks - All of our staff and guests will be required to wear face masks. We require that you wear a mask to your appointment at all times during your visit. The Parlour 29 will not be supplying masks for guests as we have to reserve them for our team, so please arrive prepared. If you do not have a mask, you will be required to reschedule your appointment.
  • Blow-drying – Temporarily, we will not be doing any blow-dry in the salon in order to prevent the forceful airflow of any germs. We ask you to come in with clean/dry hair (washed within 24 hours) as we are limiting shampoos.
  • Please know how important it is for us to offer luxury services. These adjustments to your service will be temporary.

We can all do our part to prevent the spread of illness in our community. You can help by staying home/rescheduling your appointment if you’re feeling sick. Symptoms may appear 2–14 days after exposure and include fever, cough, and shortness of breath. If you are healthy, we look forward to seeing you with your protective face mask!

Q: What personal protection protocols are you taking?

Along with implementing personal protection protocols including masks, gloves, and new freshly-laundered capes for every service, we are also implementing safety and sanitation measures including, but not limited to, the following:

  • Employees nor guests will be permitted on the premises if they have COVID-19 symptoms.
  • We have adapted to new hours of operation and schedules that are designed to adhere to social distancing requirements.
  • The number of guests on-premises will be limited to 25% of normal capacity.
  • 1 guest per service provider.
  • No persons will be allowed to sit in the waiting area.
  • Employees and guests will wear protective facemasks.
  • All equipment used by a service provider will be sanitized between guests.
